The CMMG DISSENT Mk4 5.56mm 10.5\" Tungsten is a compact AR-style pistol built on CMMGs Mk4 platform and chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. It uses CMMGs patent-pending Compact Action direct impingement system, which houses the entire action and recoil mechanism in the upper receiver and removes the need for a traditional buffer system, resulting in a shorter overall configuration. The pistol features a 10.5-inch medium taper (MT) barrel with a 1:7 twist, made from 4140 chrome-moly steel with a salt bath nitride finish, and is equipped with a CMMG ZEROED Blast Compensator on 1/2x28 threads. The DISSENT upper is 7075-T6 aluminum, paired with a forged 7075-T6 Mk4 lower, and a proprietary free-float handguard, all finished in Cerakote Tungsten. Additional features include an adjustable 0.750\" gas block, a left-side non-reciprocating DISSENT side charger, and a 1913 Picatinny rail end cap at the rear for attaching compatible accessories.
