While compact it is still very versatile allowing for button free deployment and 6 length of pull settings. At full extension length of pull (LOP) reaches 12.6" keeping it comfortable for shooters of all sizes. The SCW 2.5 Brace utilizes the patented Dead Foot Arms LLC Modified Cycle System and a shortened version of the M16A2 Bolt Carrier Group which is included with this kit. The SCW 2.5 Brace features an ergonomic design that uses dual rails that are offset to not interfere with weapon controls or function. The Tailhook Brace opens to the right. System includes complete brace assembly receiver extension adjustment rail recoil springs plunger and MCS Style (shortened) M16A2 bolt carrier group. System weight excluding BCG is 17 oz.
