The mount is located on the inside channel of your hood trunk or hatchback so there are no visible mounting holes. These mounts are fully adjustable to compensate for sloping angles such as those common on mini-van hoods and/or hatchback doors. Mount has a full 180 degrees of adjustment and may be mounted on either the left or right side of the vehicle. The riser portion of the bracket will accommodate channels that are up to 2 (50mm) deep. Overall the bracket is 4 (100mm) tall and 1.5 (38mm) wide.
