Retention of the pistol is accomplished with reinforced retention strap swiftly released by the thumb to draw the pistol. The open-front magazine carriers use rubberized passive retention ramps for security and permit a very fast reload without any encumbering straps. The Parabellums holster and magazine carrier components are mated to Galcos newest wide comfort harness which is a full 2.5 at the shoulder maximizing wearer comfort. At the same time concealability especially with an open jacket is enhanced with a recontouring of the harnesss strap shape. The new harness also features an improved tool-free key-hole harness fastener system that replaces the earlier screw-and-post design that results in greater security ease of assembly and greatly reduced chance of fastener loss.
