Pro-Tech 5406 Malibu Textured Manual Flipper Pocket Knife

The Pro-Tech Malibu is our exciting entry into the manual flipper market. The Malibu has a Reverse Tanto blade shape. Featuring premium CPM Magnacut blade steel for unbelievably long edge retention and strength, and has a high flat grind to provide a razor cutting edge that terminates in a fine piercing tip. The overall aesthetic of the blade is kept free from markings on the front and back show sides. The Pro-Tech makers mark has been hidden from view on the spine of the knife, while the steel stamp is cleverly hidden on the flipper tab, providing a clean form devoid of superfluous markings. The handle features thoroughly developed ergonomics designed to comfortably fit any size hand; sporting a gently curved spine with finger indexing set into the chamfer on the front of the handle. A mini deep carry clip ensures that this slender knife carries discreetly.What truly sets the Malibu apart from other knives on the market is its amazingly smooth action that can easily be opened and closed with one hand, while never placing your fingers in the path of the blade. Our unique tuned button lock detent system provides a crisp breaking detent release when the blade is flipped. This distinct system does this using only the button lock itself, with no other detent mechanism necessary. Once open, simply close the blade with an easy push of the button and tilt of the handle.
