Accuracy International AXSR Folding Rifle .338 Lapua Mag Dark Earth 27" 3/4"-24 w/Brake SR38L27MDE

The AXSR is based on Accuracy International's submission for the USSOCOM Advanced Sniper Rifle program (ASR). Like its predecessor, the AXMC; this rifle system is a multi-caliber platform designed to be configured at the user level. Caliber conversions are accomplished by removing the barrel with a 4mm hex key, changing the bolt body, and selecting the appropriate magazine. The QUICKLOC barrel release housing is located in the lower-right side of the action, requiring 49 inch lbs. of torque when installing a new barrel. Bolt bodies can be changed without tools while utilizing the original Shroud and Firing Pin Assembly. Beyond the redesign of the chassis, the operation of this system is similar to the AXMC. When shooting this rifle, the noticeable differences are the pistol grip and the 2 - Position Safety.
