Professional grade with two stages of sharpening: coarse grade for re-shaping and restoring a good sharp cutting edge and fine grade for polishing and creating a razor sharp edge on your favorite knives. The two stage design allows the user to change from coarse to fine grade as needed. One of the stages features coarse grade coarse diamond plates for grinding away nicks and a special polishing wheel for restoring a keen edge. The second stage is for polishing a fine edge and serrated blades. Both stages have a recess in between plates for storing the supplied sharpening rod.
