The Gen2 mag pouch closes with an over-sized rubber like finish on the outside and a traditional flat kangaroo pocket on the inside that holds the ammo until you put it in. The kangaroo pocket may be large but it's designed to be used with 2 fingers so you don't need to worry about slipping and sliding. The cinch on the kangaroo pocket lets it remain very quiet while the internal foam padding protects the mag like a baby. The Condor Gen2 Pouch features an adjustable double security strap to ensure that the mag stays put and the flat side never rolls up on you.
