Condor Tool and Knife Mainz Gladius Sword 4.5 Mm 1075 High Carbon Steel Blade w/ Leather Wrapped Walnut Handle. The guard made of black and white bone surrounded by a similar bluing is a reproduction of the actual likeness. The hand forged Gladius blade is 1075 high carbon steel. The blade is beautifully double fullered. The guard and pommel are double fullers providing great support for the blade and guard. The blade is edged and has a double fuller. The stainless steel fittings are bronze. The long guard un-edged is carved with a dragon. The sweat guard which is unscrewed from the main guard also has a snake engraved name and is double fuller than the normal Gladius.
