CoolFire Trainer Coolfire System 1911 9mm. Using "strike-on" actions the CoolFire displaces the air from the normal firing pin motion. This system forces the user to practice dry fire stances removing all doubt by firing without a "dry fire" mechanism. Dry firing a CO2 powered pistol will render all dry firing a "wet firing" experience. The "dry fire" system forces the user to strike a non-cooperative non-recoil material such as steel or nylon. The non-recoil material causes the user to feel a "dry fire" sensation similar to an air gun which allows the user to confidently handle a variety of training scenarios. The "dry fire" action uses a CO2 powered barrel to "strike" the non-recoiling non-leak recoil system of the "live fire" pistol simulating the "live fire" experience. The "wet firing" feature causes the user to release the CO2 without feeling the recoil system. Dry firing is not recommended during dry fire training.
