The 1-Piece Guide Rods are drop-in parts that require no modification, and 2-Piece Guide Rod requires fitting by a qualified gunsmith.Notes:Full length guide rods replace the stock spring guide and provide full support of the recoil spring. This allows for even compression of the spring coils as the slide moves to the rear, making the absorption of energy more uniform.
