DPMS DP10 Semi-Automatic .308 Rifle, 16\" Mid-Length Stainless Steel 1:10 Twist Barrel, (1) 20 Round Magazine - DP51655126021 - DPMS manufacturing is one of the most trusted names in AR-15 and AR-10 technology. The rifle features a stainless steel barrel in 308 WIN / 7.62 Nato with a 1/10 twist rate. It also features a mid-length gas system for smooth cycling and the upper is paired with a DPMS Panther Arms Classic Handguard, front sight base on the click detent 5 position gas block, and an A2-style muzzle device. The gas system is enhanced with a mid length gas tube in order to better resist high heat and corrosion. The upper is precision machined from forged 7075-T6 aluminum, then Black anodize hard coated to MIL-8625 Type 3 class 2. The Upper is fully optics ready. The rifle also features a Tool Craft 9310 steel bolt assembly with extra-strength extractor springs that are nitrided for increased durability. 8620 carrier, nitride treated, with a nitride-treated gas key properly staked with grade 8 fasteners. A 7075 T6 aluminum charging handle is also included. The lower is precision machined from forged 7075-T6 aluminum, these lowers are then Black anodize hard coated to MIL-8625 Type 3 class 2. The rifle comes complete with a DPMS Classic 6-position stock, and a DPMS Custom Overmolded A2 Grip. This is an ideal platform for the .308 cartridge.
