The main compartment can be used for a large cellphone, a small field notebook, first aid supplies, tourniquet, charger, cable, extra mags, even camera stuff and other odds and ends. And it's also perfect for concealed carry. There’s a slim pocket on the inside for credit cards, a signal mirror, keys, one of those little EDC multi-tools that fit in your wallet, or something like that.
We use a combination of snaps and velcro to secure the outside pocket on the front, yes, it's designed for handcuffs. You can also put other small EDC stuff(badge, latex gloves). The sides have one open ended slot as well as a closed pocket. Either one can be used for pens, markers or flashlights, glow stick. Perfect sized bag for EDC in work/play/training. Tough, comfortable, easy to install and remove. Fits well on your side.
You can put this nice nylon case/beltbag on a duty belt up to 2.25", regular belt or attach it to a molle hiking backpack, molle vest/panel/carrier. It could also end up on a bug out bag. Attachment straps on the back have both snaps & Velcro for more secure fastening and stabilization, and Velcro hooks on the inside of the belt clip can attach to the Velcro loops of your outer belt, this keeps pouch in place on your compatible gear/tool belt (it won’t shift around at all).
