A turn of the breech plug reveals a threaded muzzle thread adapter allowing the shooter to install/remove the comp in a matter of seconds. Once the muzzle blast is past the baffles in the compensator the gas cannelure expands to relieve the muzzle blast eliminating blast forward. The baffles in the compensator expand to fill the entire chamber space eliminating time and expense to install a permanent muzzle device. Because the baffles in the compensator are not visible from the front the shooter can focus on confirming the position of the muzzle blaster on the barrel. Once the position of the muzzle brake is known the shooter can visual confirmation of the position of the muzzle blaster/ compensator and can hear the sound of the muzzle brake/compensator/etc... The sound of the muzzle brake/compensator/etc... is normally felt only during rapid fire or during extremely rapid strings of fire when the shooter holds the compensator back. The recoil lug is left in place so the shooter can focus on securing the target rather than frantically trying to clear it themselves. High quality front flaps are also included but these must be purchased separately as they are non-reflective and do not function well with gas tanks due to heat generated from burning or excessive heat.
