Forward Controls Design URF-F AR-15 Forged Upper Receiver

Forged uppers may have minor surface imperfections, these are not flaws but normal in the manufacturing process. Forward Controls choose function over form, they don't attempt to remove them by sand blasting them that can result in altered dimensions. They think the standard A3 upper receiver is pretty good, and hard to improve on (cosmetics don't count). For URF-F (Upper Receiver, FCD, Forged), there is but a single functional change we wanted which differs from the TDP spec forged upper receiver. Specifically, URF-F has relief cuts/chamfers on the area above the charging handle (before 1913 rails start) for better accessibility of a flip up BUIS's sight stalk / flip up element. In 2023, they also added another bevel in the rear. URF-F is based on TDP spec forged upper receiver, it's made and modified for Forward Controls by Centurion Arms. Type 3 hard coated in black.
