The Heckler & Koch MR556A1 is a semi-automatic rifle that utilizes the HK proprietary gas piston operating system which virtually eliminates malfunctions typically seen in other AR-style rifles. Chambered in 5.56x45mm (5.56 NATO) / 223 Rem, it features a German-made, cold hammer-forged steel barrel and a free-floating rail system. Other features include an A2 pistol grip and flash hider, 6-position collapsible stock, a 16-inch barrel, 30+1 capacity, and H&K diopter removable sights.
