JMac Customs TS-8R Triangle Stock for 5.5mm Folding AKs 8in Black. 5mm Triangle Stock - Triangle butt stock for AKs is a Triangle folding stock adapter for 5.5mm AKs that keeps the rear locking lugs and factory or tactical rear trunnions. The JMac 5.5 Triangle Stock installs using the rear trunnion to which it is attached. Triangle butt stocks provide a combination of advantages including the addition of sling mounting capabilities and the convenience of a folding stock. While a folding AK is a convenient feature it does not offer the same storage or "tactical" advantages as a rifle. For a triangle stock that will work with most AK pistols equipped with a thigh block you'll need the AK barrel nut and receiver extension nut. The AK barrel nut and receiver extension must be removed and then the stock installed using the triangle lug bolt. The receiver bolts onto the pistol's T-Nut with the T-Nut on the bottom of the receiver.
