The larger size of the handle and blade provides a little more stability while opening and closing. It is a serious tactical/ EDC (every day carry) knife but can also be used for hunting bushcraft camping hunting or any other activity where you would need a good large durable knife with a quick one-handed opening function. It has been designed for hard use. The blade is heat treated and uses cryogenically treated powdered metal blade steel. The handle is one solid piece of G-10 making the knife very sturdy.
