The larger size of the handle and blade provides a little more stability while opening and closing. It is a serious tactical/ EDC (every day carry) knife but can also be used for hunting bushcraft camping hunting or any other activity where you would need a good large durable knife with a quick one-handed opening function. It has been designed for hard use. The blade is heat treated and uses cryogenically treated powdered metal blade steel. The handle is one solid piece of G-10 making the knife very sturdy. The backspacer is made of a rigid spring steel encased in a perforated overlay providing additional strength and grip. The Eagle Auto is a very capable utility/everyday carry knife; the blade is replaceable but the body mechanism was designed for quick and easy opening with a manual push of the thumb studs. It has an enhanced right side with a window breaker for stray drops. The backspacer is made of a harder resin impregnated nylon. This provides extra strength and resistance to corrosion. Blade steel is CPM-S30V a powdered metallurgy steel with very good wear resistance good abrasion resistance and good corrosion resistance. Comes with a slim line Kydex sheath for cleaning and storage. Reverse side has a reversible deep-carry handle with a smooth open and closing action. This provides for easy one hand opening and closing.
