The 6061 aluminum parts are CNC machined and hard anodized making the surface tough against scratching and scuffing. The twist leg lock system is quickly deployed with a simple quarter turn. With the tripod's three variable leg angles it allows you to splay the legs completely out so the support can drop to a very low minimum height.
