The buttpad is attached to the buttstock with stainless steel bolts and allows the shooter to slide the buttstock and lock it in place with the button on the buttstock. This feature allows the shooter to change the position of the buttstock and fire with one hand moving the shooters head from side to side and enables the shooter to quickly get a solid firing grip on the AR.
