The Mex-Tac's handle is a simple yet complex 3D machined aluminum handle with vertical and horizontal lines that slim the knife down to a petit and lightweight package. Once the blade is open you simply push down the thumb stud and the blade moves out of the handle which releases the blade. Once the blade is out you simply push down the thumb stud again to close the knife which releases the blade spur. Once the blade is in open position you can use the slotted screwdriver to remove the spur. Then just remove the flat head screwdriver and then open the blade to release the blade.
