The safe is equipped with a laser-cut 1/2 inch steel plate door, spring-loaded re-locker, and chrome-plated heavy-duty steel locking bolts as well as an anti-drill lock plate. The standard electronic lock on the Protex HD-9150D II Depository Safe is a feature for the drop safe which gives it a very convenient and fast operation as well as easy programming. Other features of this lock include up to 7 users (master code, supervisor code, and 5 other user codes), dual control mode, and the 9V battery can be replaced outside of the safe. The door is equipped with a chrome-plated handle and internal hinges and active chrome locking bolts 1-1/4 in diameter to prevent pry attacks. Mounting holes and anchoring hardware are provided for anchoring the safe onto a concrete floor.
