Barrel: A proprietary blend of Hammer forged chrome molly vanadium made by FN that is referred to as "Machine Gun Steel" by virtue of its use in FN's M249 and M240 weapons. The hammer forging process work hardens the steel, making it more durable. In addition, the chrome process for the bore allows for a lining almost twice as thick as a standard M16 for enhanced durability. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, with a 1/7 twist, M4 barrel extension, and a Rifle-length gas system. Barrel is High Pressure tested, and Magnetic Particle inspected, to ensure quality and dependability, and is finished off with a 15" PSA M-Lok free float handguard, low profile gas block and PSA Custom G Comp Muzzle Break.Upper: Forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper is Teflon-Coated in the PSA Custom paint shop for durability. These upper receivers are made for us right here in the USA.Bolt Carrier Group: Nitride treated 8620 steel bolt, with an enhanced firing pin and external 5.56 style extractor. The bolt carrier group is compatible with most aftermarket fire control groups.Lower: These forged lowers are quality made using 7075-T6 aluminum and are marked "MULTI" for the caliber. The finish is Teflon-coated from the PSA Custom paint shop. The Mil-spec diameter 7075-T6 buffer tube is hard-coat anodized with 6 adjustment positions and is fitted with a MOE Carbine Stock, Magpul grip, and PSA Custom 3.5 lb FlatBow Trigger.The Palmetto State Armory Custom Series line of accessories, components, and firearms are designed to give you the tactical or competitive advantage when you need it most!
