Bolts gas cylinders locking lugs and pistons are all made of extremely high quality steel heat treated to deliver exceptional strength and performance. Carrier itself is also plated with Melonite. This melonite coating is substantially more wear resistant than conventional coatings. Carrier itself is stamped with a small gear orientated at the rear of the bolt this ensuring that it will not gall or crack even with hard use.
