At 0.355 in diameter it can be used in other cartridges but it is ideally suited for use in the 9mm Luger (9x19) cartridge to produce sub-sonic velocities. A substantial hollow point is included in the lead core and that lead core is surrounded by a gilding metal jacket complete with skives at the meplat for a reliable expansion quality. The jacket covering the nose radius gives it a reliability when feeding from the magazine into the chamber in semi-auto cartridges. Considered a general-purpose bullet it works well at the range for competition as well as having some hunting applications. Accuracy potential has been exceptionally well in our testing.
