Now with the patented AT-XR mechanism it is even easier to add your own personal stamp by customizing your own handle color. So now the Flash gets a new look and a fresh-faced update. The Titanium coated blade spacers and sog make it even more fun to use. Urban Grey the new "light" grey of the AT-XR series reflects a light grey that is reminiscent of the Flash. It also features a black onyx liner so it is even easier to open/close it than the standard AT-XR. Since the Flash is primarily a karambit it's fitting that the new model be a good choice for a dark colored handle. It's also nice to know that the black coating on the full sized model at least adds some interesting color to the knife. Also first time users will notice how comfortable the handle is as well as the speed with which it opens/closes. It's the same quality sog is known for and its ability to do so in a variety of materials such as Tear-Down handles and SOG's patent-pending Advanced Assisted Technology. It does not include the commercial production version of the Flash which uses a modified back lock mechanism.
