Its defining feature is its unorthodox blade shape which combines the functional elements of the sheepfoot hawkbill and our Reverse S patterns to yield a remarkably versatile cutting edge. Designed by Spyderco co-founder Sal Glesser its blade is full-flat ground from 9Cr14MoV stainless steel for exceptional edge geometry and low-friction cutting performance. The blade is supported by a stout back lock mechanism housed within a linerless handle featuring gray peel-ply-textured G-10 scales. To support a full range of carry preferences the handle includes a four-position pocket clip that can be configured for tip-up or tip-down carry on either side of the body. A generously sized lanyard hole in the butt of the handle completes the package allowing the easy attachment of fobs lanyards and safety lines.
