While OBX holsters are legendary for their excellent fit and retention the new material and design makes the STX holster highly difficult to remove. There is a small indentation from where the holster attaches to your hip bone and a larger one-piece base that will have to be cut into the leather. This new material provides all the benefits of the sticky holsters and the look and fit of a traditional holster but also has the advantage of being able to install and remove the holster without having to remove your gun from your waistband. This feature not included in the OBX but is standard on all Sticky holsters.
