It comes equipped with responsibly sourced 850+ fill power goose down insulation with a 90/10 cluster fill ratio to keep the warmth in and the cold out. To maintain a consistent loft throughout the entire bag, the liner and shell are differentially cut to prevent the compression of the down. The interior and exterior lining is made from 100% Pertex Quantum nylon. This unique fabric features a wide fused yarn to create a tighter weave to enhance the DWR (durable water repellent), improves loft, and increases overall durability. The Chilkoot 15deg's baffle seams are pintucked and the baffle stitching is shielded this increases moisture protection and protects the stitching from abrasion for added durability. An articulated hood boasts a uniquely designed insulated neck cuff with an elastic and magnetic closure to seal in heat. A weight conscious 2/3 length reverse coil YKK zipper is paralleled by Dacron tape to reduce zipper snagging.
