Four user-selectable LED color options (white: 55 lumens, blue: 1.8 lumens, green 4.5 lumens, and infrared: 880nm peak wavelength) provide unidirectional light for general lighting needs, while the slide-in-place diffuser offers omnidirectional light for flood-like illumination as needed. The white LED light delivers a 55-lumen/1,175-candela maximum output for more than 100 hours using two AA lithium batteries (not included) or two alkaline AA batteries (included), while the infrared mode offers up to 200 hours of operation, and the blue and green LEDs each offer up to 150 hours on the same battery.
