Taran Tactical Innovations Glock Base Pad and Spring Black. The base pad easily and quickly attaches to and detaches from the magazine tube with no special tools or devices required. The one piece magazine base pad adds weight to the magazine base to help the magazine drop free easier for faster reloads. The Glock base pad is also machined from billet aluminum and hard anodized. The Glock base pad fits the USPSA 140mm gauge and holds 20+1 rounds of 40S&W magazines. The Glock 9mm G3 Mags Glock 4 Mags and Glock 5 Mags all have a one piece design so there are no small parts to keep track of. For Glock model G34 the base pad is an exact copy of the magazine extension found on the Firepower base plate that is sold separately. The magazine base plate is easily installed by sliding it over the magazine tube and pushing the pin down. The magazine base pad is easy to remove by pushing the pin down and pulling on the pin. The magazine base pad also acts as a bumper to the magazine tube adding to the weight and providing a rest for the magazine spring. The Glock spring is heavy duty and designed to add to the guns reliability and strength. The spring is heavy enough to withstand mag drops from fully loaded magazines. For Glock model 17 the base pad is ideal for the Glock 17 the Glock 34 and the Glock 17 as it allows the mag to drop free easier and is not pinned or welded to the magazine tube.
