For more than 100 years, the "Chicago TypewriterA(R)", the time-honored submachine gun, has been a favorite among collectors and shooting enthusiasts. All the classic details of the time honored original are reproduced in today's semi-auto Thompson. The frame and receiver are machined from lightweight aluminum. The wood is genuine American walnut. This .45 caliber carbine features a 16.5" finned barrel compensator and an aluminum receiver. The .45 ACP caliber Thompson 1927A-1 has a finned Cutts compensator, which lengthens the finned barrel length to 18", and puts the overall length for the carbine at 41" from buttstock to muzzle. The Tommy Gun has an aluminum receiver, and blade front and open rear adjustable sight. The fixed stock is crafted in luxurious polished American Walnut and has a vertical foregrip. Ships with one 20-rd. stick magazine, and one 50-rd. drum magazine. Note: Blemished model. This gun is brand new, with factory warranty still in place, but will contain minor cosmetic defects.
