This muzzle brake is installed using industrial-grade adhesive and set screws. It is considered a permanent installation and is not removable once it is installed properly. This symmetrical design uses five simple rows of holes arranged in a helical pattern to redirect the muzzle gas and produce a brake effect on the recoil of the weapon. The internal bore is conical to help with gas flow and also creates plenty of clearance for the projectile. The effects of a brake are always subjective but a conservative reduction of 30percent of recoil is not unusual.
