It locks by stainless steel linerlock and is opened by the detachable thumb stud on both sides. The opening aid is modeled on the magazine release of the Walther PDP pistol. The proximity to the successful pistol is particularly noticeable on the full-size grip: in addition to the PDP lettering the G10 handle scales feature a one-piece FRN overlay with the original Performance Duty structure.
