XTS Forward Assist Assembly AR-15/AR-10 Plunger/Forward Assist Pawl/Spring & Roll Pin Anodized Purple. The forward assist on the AR10 is the same as that found on most AR-15 rifles. The XTS Forward Assist Assembly makes it easy to move the bolt carrier assembly off of the front of the upper to allow the removal of the forward assist trigger mechanism. In addition the forward assist enables the user to move the bolt carrier group out of the way to allow manual operation of the bolt carrier.
