Made up of two lightweight yet durable 10-layer carbon fiber the DC-282C adds from 7.8 to 12.5'' in height and is suitable for use with supports that have a load capacity of up to 35.2 lb. The column base has a diameter of 1.5'' and an integrated 3/8''-16 threaded socket and the top platform features a spring-loaded 3/8''-16 threaded tip that can be slid down to reveal a 1/4''-20 threaded tip making it compatible with virtually any tripod head. The included LH-36LR Lever Release Ballhead is lightweight aluminum and features an Arca-type compatible quick release system. A precisely-machined ball provides ultra-smooth movements and a large ergonomically-designed locking knob enables the movement of the ball head to be controlled.
